1. General Provisions
1.1. Accreditation for mass media representatives (“the media”) and bloggers to the EDB Business Forum aims to enable them to prepare and disseminate complete and reliable information on EDB events.
1.2. Accreditation is mandatory for all EDB events.
1.3. Media representatives and bloggers should respect the rights and interests of EDB participants and staff and observe ethical standards.
1.4. The number of accredited representatives is limited to ensure comfort and access to necessary resources.
1.5. EDB events comply with all necessary safety measures, including medical advice to prevent the spread of infections.
2. Accreditation Procedure
2.1. Accreditation applications must be submitted through the official website of the EDB Business Forum. All mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) must be completed in the registration form.
2.2. The application period is from 20 May to 15 September 2025. Applications are reviewed within 10 calendar days of the closing date.
2.3. Applications are accepted from bloggers with verified accounts.
3. Accreditation Limitations
3.1. Newspapers – 3 persons (2 journalists, 1 photographer).
3.2. Magazines – 2 persons (1 journalist, 1 photographer).
3.3. Information agencies – 4 persons (2 journalists, 2 photographers).
3.4. Electronic media – 2 persons (1 journalist, 1 photographer).
3.5. TV channels – 7 persons (2 journalists, 1 producer, 2 cameramen, 2 sound engineers).
3.6. Radio companies – 2 persons (2 journalists).
3.7. Bloggers – 1 person per blog.
4. Accreditation Badges
4.1. Accreditation badges are issued upon application approval at the accreditation stations in Almaty.
4.2. Badges are issued upon presentation of an ID card/passport and written consent to the processing of personal data. If a badge is lost, it must be blocked immediately, and a replacement badge must be requested.
5. Rejected Accreditations
The EDB reserves the right to refuse accreditation without giving reasons.
6. Rights and Responsibilities of Accredited Persons
6.1. Rights include using all media services, receiving information about events, working at the press centre and participating in press events.
6.2. Responsibilities include verifying the accuracy of information, complying with quoting requests, keeping recorded persons informed, not using the status of an accredited person for personal gain, and complying with security requirements.
